The Kitchens are where the food is prepared. Some of the servant children work here. Come here to steal food, but beware! The kitchen staff are fiercely protective of their 'masterpieces'.

Alyria
Alyria is 14 years old. Her daemon is Aelar. She has wavy brown hair and purple eyes. Alyria is smart, a good athlete, adventurous, beautiful, and curious. She is the daughter of a scholar at Jordan College. She lives in a dorm on the campus, along with her mother and father.
Sky

Minerva is 14 years old. She has beautiful blonde hair and blue eyes. She is very outgoing, and loves a good adventure. She is kind, clever, and very curious. She is a fast runner and a great swimmer. She also loves to sing, but is afraid of the dark. She was born and raised in Italia, but moved to Jordan when she turned five. She lives with her mother because her father had passed away when she turned six.Minerva's family is very rich, so she is quite spoiled, even though she never acts like it. She won't go anywhere without her crystal necklace. Her daemon's name is Fyrei.
Sonny
Sonny is a brown haired girl with dark blue eyes. Bright, yet very feisty. She was abused by her drunk father, and she escaped to Jordan at age 11. Her daemon is Shadow.
Alania
Aliana is a 12 year old scholar child. She's small and athletic with shoulder length brown hair and blue eyes. She's funny, sneaky and kind. Her parents died from an illness but her uncle works at Jordan. Her daemon is Bartholemew.
Ian
Ian is a 12 year old servant child. His father is a butler. He is good-looking with tan skin, caramel colored hair, and hazel eyes. He is smart, funny, and sporty. His mom died when he was five and he lives at Jordan, his best friend is Aliana. His daemon is Laquita.

Rachel walked to the kitchen with her maid outfit on. Kavik padded along side her. When they got to the kitchen, Rachel saw only one cook there. "Hey! Emily!" Rachel called out. The cook turned around "Oh, its just you Rachel..." Emily said. "Well, I was wondering if I can watch over the kitchen and cook..." Rachel asked. "I guess it is okay..." Emily replied and walked away.
ReplyDeleteRachel looked at her thin body. She hasn't eaten in a while. Rachels stomach growled, and Kavik licked his lips. "Kavik... I'm hungry, are you?" Rachel asked. Kavik nodded, and padded around the kitchen. Rachel found a hot fudge sundae with peanuts and chocolate scauce. Rachel carefully picked it up, unaware a cook was in the door-way. Rachel gasped, and raced away, Kavik at her heels. The cook yelled "Security!!" Rachel stopped and gaurds were surrounding her. The gaurds had guns in their hands. Kavik growled and barked at them. Rachel saw a room close by, and Kavik escaped. Kavik grabbed a bag of fine food, and the cops went after him. Rachel went in the room, and climbed through the window on to the Rooftop. She kept on running until she was far away, and she heard a shot, and started crying. She looked down, and shivered, the cool breeze making Rachel cold. She lay down and rested her head against another building.
(This is when Kavik distracts the gaurds, before he gets shot)
Kavik raced around the kitchen with the bag in his mouth. He ran until he was cornered. He bared his teeth, and growled. He ripped the bag open and ate all the food, and right then a gaurd shot Kavik. Kavik froze in his spot, and fell over. Kavik managed to get up, and stood up weakly. He looked for gaurds, and they were no where in sight. Kavik saw the blood, and growled. He saw a dog licking up the remains of the food. He raced away into the room where Rachel escaped. He ran in there, and a girl screamed, and Kavik jumped through the window. He saw an outline of his master, Rachel. He barked, and raced up to her.
Rachel opened up her eyes and saw her daemons body. "Kavik!!" RAchel said excitedly. Kavik licked her face, and Rachel gasped. "Kavik, you are hurt...." Rachel cried. Kavik shook off. "But your fine??" Rachel asked. Kavik nodded. "Well, we better go back to work, before we-I mean I get in trouble." Rachel said. They walked back to work.
"Rachel! I'm so disappointed in you!" Emily said, all angry. Emily crossed her arms. "But-But I was hungry!" Rachel replied. "You never fed me or Kavik!" Rachel added. Emily looked at Kavik. "Fine Rachel, I will give you another chance." Emily replied.

(Daemons are not slaves to their humans or the other way around. If the deamon is hurt thand the human will feel exactly the same and Daemons aren't able to ge more than a few metres from their humans. They can also talk too!
