The catacombs are the scariest place on campus. But, they can also be the most fun. The tombs of many Masters and scholars are down here, along with the wine cellars.

Alyria
Alyria is 14 years old. Her daemon is Aelar. She has wavy brown hair and purple eyes. Alyria is smart, a good athlete, adventurous, beautiful, and curious. She is the daughter of a scholar at Jordan College. She lives in a dorm on the campus, along with her mother and father.
Sky
Sky is 15 years old. She has beautiful blonde hair and baby blue eyes. She is gentle, kind and caring. Her daemon is Arando.
Minerva
Minerva is 14 years old. She has beautiful blonde hair and blue eyes. She is very outgoing, and loves a good adventure. She is kind, clever, and very curious. She is a fast runner and a great swimmer. She also loves to sing, but is afraid of the dark. She was born and raised in Italia, but moved to Jordan when she turned five. She lives with her mother because her father had passed away when she turned six.Minerva's family is very rich, so she is quite spoiled, even though she never acts like it. She won't go anywhere without her crystal necklace. Her daemon's name is Fyrei.
Sonny
Sonny is a brown haired girl with dark blue eyes. Bright, yet very feisty. She was abused by her drunk father, and she escaped to Jordan at age 11. Her daemon is Shadow.
Alania
Aliana is a 12 year old scholar child. She's small and athletic with shoulder length brown hair and blue eyes. She's funny, sneaky and kind. Her parents died from an illness but her uncle works at Jordan. Her daemon is Bartholemew.
Ian
Ian is a 12 year old servant child. His father is a butler. He is good-looking with tan skin, caramel colored hair, and hazel eyes. He is smart, funny, and sporty. His mom died when he was five and he lives at Jordan, his best friend is Aliana. His daemon is Laquita.

Minerva was giggling when she raced into the mines with Fyrei, with the yelling of a couple men not far behind. Minerva weaved through the tombs easily, and found a decwent hidin place. It was going to be risky, but she decided to take her chances. She quickly crawled into a small hole hidden by the shadows of a tomb. Fyrei followed quickly, in the form of a ferret, so he could fit in the hole with her. Minerva and Fyrei backed up as far as they could, and went silent, afraid to give themselves away. The pounding of footsteps and booming yells signaled that the men were right by them. All of a sudden everything went silent, and Minerva didn't dare to breath, for even a single inhale/exhale of your breathing could give you away. A soft footstep brought her attention to the hole's entrance, and she knew they had been beaten. Any minute now, the men would find the hole, and Minerva and Fyrei were going to be caught. She backed up as hard as she could, and then the wall behind her just, broke, and she went falling. She made a big crash when she hit the ground, but was realieved to see that Fyrei was okay. The men obviously heard the noise and quickly found them. Minerva screamed and Fyrei turned into a wolf, and bared his teeth. The funny thing was that the first man could not get through the entrance to wherever Minerva was, so he swore angrily and left with the others. Minerva wiped a bead of sweat off her brow, and layed down....
ReplyDeleteOnly to sit back up in an instant because she realized she had been laying on bones. She screamed and got up. It was a tomb. "Fyrei, oh my goodness, look what we fell into!" She said breathlessly. Fyrei nodded, "You just realized this?" He laughed (NOT an evil laugh, a happy laugh). "Umm... haha yeah. I guess. ButI kinda want to get out of here now, this tomb gives me the creeps." "Me too," Fyrei replied. Minerva found the hole they had fallen through, and suddenly realized that.... they couldn't get out. Stuck. Captured. Unescapable. The hole was about 8 feet high, and the walls of the tomb were smooth and straight, not the kind of walls you need to climb with. She sat down on a stone with defeat, and started crying. She pulled out the thing she had stolen from the men, and looked at it with curiosity. It was a golden locket, about the size of her fist and as heavy as a newborn puppy (like 3-5 lbs.). It had many designs all over it, and when she opened it up, it sang a soft tune. Inside there was room for a picture, and decided that if she ever got out, she would give use to the locket.
She stopped crying gradually, and soon after fell into a deep slumber.

Rachel heard crying in the catacombs, and raced into them, Kavik in the form of a cat. Rachel ran into a room, and saw people swear. Rachel hid behind a big rock. "A person came in here, and we lost her" One of the voices said. Then Rachel heard another voice "We can come back later". Then the people left.
ReplyDeleteRachel saw a crack in the wall, and broke into it. She looked down and saw Minerva and her daemon. "Hey! Are you okay?" Rachel asked. Kavik turned into a wolf, and jumped down. Rachel held her breath, and jumped down too. Rachel sat down and looked at Minerva.
Minerva looked up, "I-I-I'm fine," she sniffed. "But now you're stuck here, too. There's no way out! An 8 foot climb with steep smooth walls..." she shook her head.
ReplyDeleteRachel smiled, and looked at Kavik. Kavik turned into a dragon. "Like that" Rachel said. Kavik looked at his dragon-form and smiled.
ReplyDelete"Maybe you can get Fyrei to turn into a drgaon and fly you out" Rachel said.
GG strolled in, "Woah look at this place Dom!" She said with awe and shiverd, suddenly she heard talking and looked through the hole, "What are you all doing down there?" she asked curioulsy.
ReplyDeleteDom chanced into a lemur and looked down, "They can't get out" he said.
GG looked at the dragon shaped daemons, "Your daemons won't be able to fly you up her and fit through the hole!" she said reaching her hand as far as she could go.
Rachel knew GG was right. Kavik turned from a dragon, into a mouse. Rachel picked Kavik up in her hands, and jumped as high as she could, and grabbed GG's hand. Kavik was safley cupped in Rachels other hand, and as GG pulled up, Rachel set Kavik on the ledge, and hauled herself up. "Thanks" Rachel huffed. "Minerva, up here!" Rachel called out. Kavik turned into a cat now, a gray and black cat.
ReplyDeleteGG smiled and reached down again, "That's ok!" she said.
ReplyDeleteDom changed into a large boa constrictor and wrapped half of himself aroung GGs leg and the other half around a large rock imbedded in the ground. GG was hanging half over the edge now and Dom was supporting her he didn't want to let go at risk of his human being torn away from him.
